The Chincoteague and Assateague Island Lithograph
This map took over 200 hours to design and draw...First the design was made in pencil, roads and landmarks laid out...Then we went back using a rapidiograph pen with India ink and did all the fine detail work.
Next, the watercolor pencils to add the vibrant colors and finally watercolors to highlight even more.
All around the borders are facts of interesting historical trivia of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. We depicted the Assateague Lighthouse to the ducks crossing Maddox Boulevard...Maureen Beebe is even on there if you look closely!
The pony swim trail has been marked out with horseshoes so you can seen how the "Salt Water Cowboys" run them through town.
The poster has been printed on high quality paper and is a standard poster size...18" x 22". Each one has been hand signed by Megan L. Willer and Zebie Z. Hursh.
A great keepsake of the islands.
18" x 22" Poster. $22.95
